A lot of you, especially those of you that are not South Africans, are wondering about this site name!
What does it mean? Where does it come from? Why am I calling it this?
What:- It means a Pawn Shop.The type of shop that you will find all the "pledged items" and sometimes that is just what you are looking for.
Where:- it is from Afrikaans, a language of originally Dutch origins and is unique to South Africa.
Why:- mainly because it seems to capture the essence of what I have to offer on this site.
